About the B&B

Once the home of the local blacksmith, now you can stay in this popular B&B, located in the leafy main street of the famous Tasmanian historic village of Ross. Choose an ensuite room with a Queen bed or perhaps the retreat with two bedrooms and private bathroom. Sip port in the sitting room or get comfy, make a cuppa and watch TV in your own room. Often a sea breeze will send tempting aromas of the wood fired oven from the bakery opposite. In the morning prepare your continental breakfast provisions your way in the sunny breakfast room. Enquire direct to us  by email for special rates for guests wishing to book the entire B&B (suits 6-8 people).

free-wifi-all-guests-BBStory about the room

This room was the original “main bedroom” in the cottage. The current owners built the ensuite in the room in 1991.  Many years before then lived a little lady fondly referred to as “Miss Annie”. She moved into the village to live closer to amenities from a local farm just after world war 2. She had domestic staff live in to look after her. This was her bedroom.
