Ross Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Ross Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Great Location

Once the home of the local blacksmith, now you can stay in this popular bed and Breakfast, located at 12 Church Street in the leafy main street of the famous Tasmanian historic village of Ross. We are across the road from the wood fired bakery that sells “worlds best vanilla slices”, and next door to a very nice cafe that sells the best seafood crepe and coffee.

What is on offer:

Choose an ensuite room with a Queen bed or perhaps the retreat with two bedrooms and private bathroom. Sip port in the sitting room or get comfy, make a cuppa and watch TV in your own room. Often a sea breeze will send tempting aromas of the wood fired oven from the bakery opposite. In the morning prepare your continental breakfast provisions your way in the sunny breakfast room. You will love the garden views from the breakfast room. Enjoy the under cover garden patio, smell the old English garden and hear the wonderful song birds Ross is famous for. Feel free to wander through our garden, rest on the sandstone seat under the peach tree and enjoy our complimentary port. Slumber in the lounge room and enjoy a book from our bookshelf. Although no cooking facilities are available in the Ross B&B, we provide plates and cutlery for take away meals to be eaten in the dining room.

Special rates are available for guests wishing to book the entire B&B (suits 6-8 people). Inquire direct to us by email for more details.

* If you would prefer to have a cottage to yourself we would highly recommend our self contained Colonial Cottages of Ross.

* An alternative option for accommodation is Gardener’s  Retreat.  It is the same suite as the Retreat but has NO access to the shared living areas or breakfast. It still has a larger private bathroom and its own small living area. It appeals to those not seeking the extra space or breakfast at a lower price.
