In Roman Mythology anyone shot with cupids' arrow falls in love with the first person they see. Cupid had his little nest where he seduced Psyche and lived happily ever after.
Now Cupid's Nest is available to charm the love of your life. Cupid is everywhere to be found in this romantic retreat. Walk out your front door and into the fabulous tree lined street of Ross. Outside the patio door the lovely sandstone patio and garden greet you. Cupid's land which backs onto the Maquarie river. Take a walk throuygh the back gate, enjoy a glass of your favourite wine watching the river birds.
Cupid's Nest is our latest cottage to become available. It shares the same wonderful 1830 sandstone ex-convict barracks as Captain Samuel's Cottage. In 2009 we uncovered the sandstone walls from behind timber lining. The low security convicts chose sandstone containing wonderful reds and yellows for these walls. They have been covered for well over 100 years. After months of restoration, the walls can now be enjoyed in the ensuite bathroom and the bedroom.
